Matrimony & More…

Reverend Pamela Klusack is a member of  the Lansing Bridal Association.   She is a delightful person!    She has an infectious laugh, a warm smile, and she loves performing wedding ceremonies.    She is a Wedding Officiant!

When I asked Rev. Klusack what advice she has for brides and grooms, she stated, “The first thing I  tell my couples is have fun, make this your day, not someone else’s.”

Not only does the officiant proclaim “you are now husband and wife”,  she shares the following information with the “to be wed” as well:

*Apply for your marriage license 30-days from the wedding date.

*Apply for your license in the County that you live.  It can be used anywhere in the State of Michigan.

*If you are from out-of-State and want to get married in Michigan, you need to apply for your license in the County where you will be married.

Rev. Klusack provides her couples the opportunity to create their own wedding ceremony vows.  To spur the creativity of her couples, she provides samples of vows to work with.  Additionally, she encourages her couples to use resources that they find that can be used to make the wedding ceremony unique to them.

It is the responsibility of Rev. Klusack to file the marriage license with the Court following the wedding.  The window of time for filing is ten (10) days after the wedding.

Rev. Klusack welcomes brides and grooms to consult her web site for more information pertaining to officiants and the services  she can offer.   Check out her gallery of wedding events she has had the honor to officiate.     You can also email her at and she can be reached by telephone at 517-285-0400.
